Saturday sees the "Made in Whistler Artisan market" return to the Westin on December 16th through March. Local crafts, jewelry and yummy baking in the shopping plaza area. Don't let the Westin guests get all the goodies!

Take a stroll around the Blackcomb Benchlands to visit the Festival of Trees in the Four Seasons Resort, then over to the Fairmont to the "Trees of Hope" paintings. The silent auction for these original works benefits Canuck Place Children's Hospice. Check out the Christmas decorations in the grand lobby and enjoy a drink in the Mallard Lounge.

December 15th cheer on our B.C. Luge athletes at the sliding center. Training on the fastest track in the world, check out these future Olympians!

December 17th is the start of the family apres at Celebration Plaza. This event runs Monday and Wednesday through March from 3 to 6 pm. Skating and other outdoor activities for apres ski.

December 21st brings the Whistler Firefighter's Santa Sleigh and boot drive.  Join Santa in his sleigh, high atop a vintage 1974 Fire Truck for a free photo opportunity. Located in Mountain Square 3 to 6 pm.

December 22 to January 6 is the Holiday Experience in the Whistler Conference Center. This free family event is from 10 am to 6 pm with Bouncy Castles, video games, crafts and table with a lounge for parents.

Sunday evenings up at Skier's Plaza is the Fire & Ice show. Practise at 6:30 with the Show at 7 pm. Dazzling tricks on skis and snowboards by local pros. 

Christmas Eve has a church service at the Fairmont between 6:30 and 7:30. Over at the Westin Resort and Spa is a Christmas Eve carol service at 6:30.

New Year's Eve has events at most restaurants and bars. In the Village, an alcohol-free celebration takes place in the Village. New Year's Eve fireworks take place at 8 pm and 11:30 pm. Every year is different depending on the weather. Welcome 2019 in Whistler! See you out there!
